To create, coordinate, and deliver strategic communications, quality enrollment initiatives, strategic planning, and business intelligence reporting.
The division is responsible for communicating the success of the university through an integrated communications program, the coordination of media relations, the employment of creative broadcast services and the attraction and enrollment of diverse, academically talented new undergraduate students.
SMCA also generates, supervises or develops official university reporting for use by federal or state agencies, national survey organizations and the entire university community. SMCA departments facilitate and enhance end-user data solutions, focusing on business intelligence and information-driven decision-making.
As one of the nation’s largest public universities, UCF is compelled to share its rich story and significant achievements in academics, campus life, research, economic development, and partnerships to its many audiences.
These important publics include the UCF academic community prospective students, corporate partners, alumni, donors, media representatives, and elected officials.
